Murilo Rocha is a black artist from the periphery who lives and breathes hip hop culture. He participates in specific training programs in different hip hop dance styles. His first contact with dance was through international videos of dance battles focused on hip hop culture. Starting from this interest, he began performing in schools and public spaces and started attending dance battles. Later, he began his studies at the ETEC de Artes in the Technical Course in Dance, graduating at the end of 2023. He performed in various places/events such as the Week of Art and Culture at FFLCH – USP, the Urban Art Exhibition at the Maestro Sérgio Valbusa Municipal Theater, the “Lights, Camera and Dance” project at the Summer Cultural Festival at SESC Itaquera, among others. He joined the The Legacy Crew collective, focused on urban dances, and became part of the T.F. Dance Company directed by Igor Gasparini in the second semester of 2023.
