DESCRIPTION:Borders Bodies\nFebruary 20 and 21\, 2026\nFriday\, 8:00 pm | Saturday\, 7:00 pm* - Free\n*Session with audio description.\n\nContemporary Urban Dance Workshop:\nFebruary 19\, 2026\nThursday\, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.\n\nBorders Bodies explores the limits—physical\, symbolic\, and social—that run through bodies in contemporary Brazil. The work seeks to reflect on the plurality of bodies that challenge these boundaries: Black people\, women\, homosexuals\, and those from the periphery come together in the belief that\, together\, their individualities are enhanced\, creating possible microfractures for understanding the world today. In times marked by social and symbolic distancing\, the work proposes crossing these boundaries beyond the physicality that separates territories\, asserting a longing for encounter\, for recognition of one’s own body as a border\, and for (s)cinesthetic experience as a ritual of sharing. By recognizing a portrait of the human condition as essentially collective\, Borders Bodies affirms the need to be together\, to seek interactions\, associations\, and ways of coexisting. In the scene\, hierarchies between social roles are tested and\, in the best of scenarios\, questioned and reconfigured\, making room for new forms of relationship\, listening\, and presence.
