DESCRIPTION:Under the Skin (Re-Creation) at the CRD (Dance Reference Center)\nApril 23 and 24\, 2025\nWednesday and Thursday\, 7:00 PM – Free\n\nHow many skins do we change in a decade? Based on a re-investigation of the creative processes of the work Under the Skin\, from 2016\, what traces remain embedded beneath the skin today? Still starting from a relationship between body and city\, we see today a world of coexistences. A body that breaks with what is established\, that overflows through the pores. Under the Skin – Re-Creation is a desire for the convergence of many bodies\, that divert\, that bend\, that curve\, that stretch and strain. The multiple skins of this city: wrinkled\, contracted\, ready to burst. Sensitive and exposed\, it connects us\, protects us\, and invites us to a sensorial experience. \n\n “It is not enough to want to move forward instead of moving backward. A present is always made up of intersecting processual lines—not only singular temporalities\, but also discordant directions\, and therefore\, possible deviations” - Peter Pál Pelbart\n\nThis action is part of the Rastro project\, supported by the 37th edition of Funding for Dance for the city of São Paulo.
