Odri Campos is an interpreter-creator, performer, dancer, and arts educator who lives in the South Zone of São Paulo. She began her dance journey in 2012 and, since 2015, has been developing research that investigates the fusion between Urban Dances and Expanded Contemporary Dance, through the perspective of a political dancing body. She is trained by the Technical Dance Course at ETEC de Artes de São Paulo and by the Núcleo Luz Project – Cycle II, under the direction of Chris Belluomini. As an artist-researcher, she develops the original solo “Restinga,” a study on the body, territory, and ancestry. She currently is part of T.F. Cia de Dança and Num Corre Coletivo, working in creative processes as an interpreter-creator and in arts training initiatives. She also researches photography as an expanded exercise in creation, seeking to bring this language together with her processes in dance.
