Lighting Technician

Lighting designer and visual artist, works with dance and theater companies in São Paulo since 1986. In 2019, receives the Denilto Gomes award in the category “Lighting – body of work”. Participates in the Improvisation Core led by Zélia Monteiro, where they conduct research using stage lighting applied to improvisation. At E² Theatre and Dance Company, directed by Eliana de Santana, they work as an artistic director, in addition to creating lighting and scenography. They have carried out lighting projects for various contemporary dance artists from the city of São Paulo, such as: Cláudia Palma, Wellington Duarte, Marcos Moreno, Maura Baiochi, Marcos Sobrinho, Geórgia Lengos, Zé Maria Carvalho, Michele Carolina, Cleia Plácido and Beth Bastos. In theater, they created the lighting project for productions such as: “Sertão sem Fim” with Tertulina Alves, “Deadline” by Priscila Gontijo, “Osmo” with Donizeti Mazonas, “Uma noite sem o aspirador de pó” with performances by Suzan Damasceno and Donizeti Mazonas, and “Soslaio” by Cia da Mentira. Starting in 2025, they will also light T.F. Dance Company.
